Divertigranja Is a place where children can learn, have fun, touch, and experience our wide variety of animales.
We are a farm and petting zoo for children with and without disabilities, working and playing together while understanding and accepting that we are all different.
Our themes of education are:
Animal diversity, plant life, and planet ecology, all within the framework of teaching the acceptance of and incorporation into mexican society people with different capabilities

Divertigranja is in a second stage of operation, with a ten year lease on a hectare (2.5 acres) of land, more than double what we have now. We are in the same town of Santiaguito but closer to the general populace. With the help of many local friends we are now fully moved to the new land by the and are completing the construction of permanent enclosures for our animals.. Returning volunteer Duncan from England is working on our monkey enclosure encircling a wonderful old tree trunk. He was the foreman at the new site is currently heading up still moreconstruction operations, including the new rabbit installation.
We would like to take the opportunity to extend an invitation to come now to visit us here at Divertigranja as a volunteer, whether in the next couple months or during the summer. We also have many construction needs which you might be able to fill here or by volunteering.
